They are awesome for live updating a site but such a pain in the butt to maintain. Ease of use, and speed is key for me and FPSE is both easy and fast compared to WebDAV or FTP. It would be great if you guys coule make something just for the transport protocol and leave out all of the crap (Web Bots, VTI*** folders etc...).
